Honesty is a trait that many of us value in ourselves, and it is one that we consistently look for in our Business Leaders.
Becoming a Leader of strong character comes down to staying true to your core beliefs and values. These values help you determine what is right and what is wrong, and are the key to making wise decisions. Since our Success is a combination of good decisions, it cannot be overemphasized on having the character to lead based on core beliefs and values.

Being congruent means that you are the same person no matter what the circumstances or who is watching. I have met many owners who have no understanding of the concept.
Your values are tested when things get tough or when there is a new chance of Success. The level of certainty you have about your values will determine how you respond.
If you compromise your values for Success or when things get tough, they are not your values. You are lying to yourself by saying that they are.
If you let yourself down and violate your values, commit to doing the right thing again.
