Names himself as a Godsman, Disguised in a Man
On the name of hope and helplessness of poor people, these Godsman(baba) in India are becoming popular and building an empire on the there trust. These people who saw themselves as the messenger of gods, the blessing as gods own child all these fake words are captivating people around the country. Whenever they get into a problem the easy step for the believers of these Godsman make them go to him and deposit how much ever money they as to and do whatever that Godsman says. By chance or by any coincidence the wish of theirs got fulfill, they tell that to each one of their family members, colleagues, whoever they know and make that particular Godsman famous and there are some people think that their Godsman who they worship is an only true idol and the rest they think they are fake. People have a blind faith in such Godsman and in return, these Godsman use the hope as a tool and earn a lot and lots of money.
There was this movie in Bollywood that named PK which dealt with how the whole Godsman are doing scams taking the help of one fictional character and making people understand that all these are nothing but a trap for all innocent people at the time of helplessness, what in return our people did was lodging cases on them, protesting against them as the movie was considered as the total fake. The whole point here is that even when there are people who have ethics and are well educated who are trying to lead them on the right path there are these blind people on the other side who don’t want to listen to any of them and just be under the vicious control of this so-called Godsman.
These Godsman are not well educated or may not be having a proper degree in the first place but, even then they manage to earn money in crores and lakhs of rupees where the educated person is not able to get such benefits. The answer is pretty simple here when people have some problem and if they go to a philosopher then he must be saying that life is meaningless, success is not truly a defined concept and any success, in the end, will be temporary as death and inevitable. In addition to that, there is is no scientific evidence that God exists or you can change your fate by the color of the dress you wear and that will be the way to the success. Now, the same problem taken to a Godsman they would charge a fee of 1000 bucks and say that he has answers to all the question that person has and telling him to wear a yellow shirt, get a south facing house, pray for an hour daily, do social service, and donate more money the more you donate the more god will be satisfied with your deeds and help you through this rough patch of your life.
How convincing is this-this for the average man to believe when he is in the need of someone and blindly follow such instructions and easily become the victims of such scams? Scientific reasons behind the problem and knowing them dealing with them is far more difficult for the common man and he needs a purpose and hopes to guide them on the right way even though they are not guaranteed that is the right path. People are insecure, especially when things are not going well for them and even if they are they are scared that they may not in the future and these are all the loopholes of common man where the Godsman is able to take an advantage and building the empire.
These scams can be actually stopped by all the people if they actually open their eyes and don’t be under any kind of control of these Godsman, the educated should start their awareness programmes how the poor innocent people are being trapped and looted. There can be centers of philosophers to guide the people in need and these people actually have a proper degree on that course there won't be any chance that people may lose their money nor be framed in any kind of scam. As grownups, we should be making smart decisions and decide what is right for us and what is wrong.
