SECURITY ADVISORY
• Do not visit bordering areas of NCT.
• Do not visit public places such as monuments, malls, hotels etc. till border tension de escalates.
• Do not visit congested areas such as Chandni Chowk.
• Do not speak to unknown people.
• Do not hold any item for any unknown person. It could be an explosive.
• Do not let children take any toffee or chewing gum. It could be rigged with explosives.
• No purchases from street hawkers.
• If you see any bag unattended for more than 8-10 minutes, inform the police.
• Avoid public transport.
• Do not hire new domestic staff as police verification not going to be effective in recent days.
• Do not park your vehicles unattended on roads.
• Do not use Valet Services.
• Do not let anyone asking for charity to enter your house. They could be terrorists in disguise.
• Avoid air travel for 72-96 hours till situation on border is ascertained.
• Do not attend any calls from unknown numbers specially international numbers.
• Students to go home straight from school.
• Parents/Drivers should not stop on road outside school for more than 5 minutes.
• Please have contact numbers shared with school available throughout school hours. Respond immediately when contacted.
• In case of lock down, parents will be informed. Please pick up children personally as per advisory.

सुरक्षा सलाह
• एनसीटी के सीमावर्ती क्षेत्रों का दौरा न करें।
• सीमावर्ती तनाव के बढ़ने तक सार्वजनिक स्थानों जैसे स्मारक, मॉल, होटल आदि का दौरा न करें।
• चांदनी चौक जैसे भीड़भाड़ वाले इलाकों की यात्रा न करें।
• अनजान लोगों से बात न करें।
• किसी भी अनजान व्यक्ति के लिए कोई वस्तु न रखें। यह एक विस्फोटक हो सकता है।
• बच्चों को कोई टॉफी या च्यूइंगम न लेने दें। यह विस्फोटक के साथ धांधली हो सकती है।
• सड़क फेरीवालों से कोई खरीदारी नहीं।
• यदि आपको कोई भी बैग 8-10 मिनट से अधिक समय तक बिना रुके दिखाई देता है, तो पुलिस को सूचित करें।
• सार्वजनिक परिवहन से बचें।
• नए घरेलू कर्मचारियों को काम पर न रखें क्योंकि पुलिस सत्यापन हाल के दिनों में प्रभावी नहीं होगा।
• अपने वाहनों को सड़कों पर लावारिस पार्क न करें।
• वैलेट सेवाओं का उपयोग न करें।
• किसी से दान मांगने के लिए अपने घर में प्रवेश न करें। वे भेस में आतंकवादी हो सकते हैं।
• सीमा पर स्थिति का पता लगाने तक 72-96 घंटे तक हवाई यात्रा से बचें।
• अज्ञात नंबरों से किसी भी कॉल को विशेष रूप से अंतरराष्ट्रीय नंबरों में शामिल न करें।
• छात्र सीधे स्कूल से घर जाने के लिए।
• माता-पिता / ड्राइवर को स्कूल के बाहर सड़क पर 5 मिनट से अधिक नहीं रुकना चाहिए।
• स्कूल के समय के साथ उपलब्ध संपर्क नंबर स्कूल के समय में साझा करें। संपर्क करने पर तुरंत प्रतिक्रिया दें।
• लॉक डाउन के मामले में, माता-पिता को सूचित किया जाएगा। कृपया सलाह के अनुसार व्यक्तिगत रूप से बच्चों को उठाएं।

Our Responsibilities As Civilians When India Is On High Alert.
For the next six months at least India is under threat of retaliation. Here are some ways to be a responsible citizen during this time of national emergency.
1. What's done is done. Forwarding jokes is not fine because the situation is grim. So let's come back to senses and ask ourselves, "What is my responsibility in a crisis". Understand that this is an hour of national high alert in India. STOP and THINK for a moment.
2. "Loose lips, sink ships". Your facebook, Whatsapp & Instagram messages could go to our enemies within minutes. if you have friends in defence, DO NOT share their messages to civilian groups. Just be silent for a few months on security matters. Your brilliant insights may be just what the enemy needs to understand the Indian psyche.
4. Do not photograph or take videos of anything related to local or national security. No selfies with tanks or jawans. The enemy is monitoring social media activity, city by city and tracking our forces.
5. Do not take pictures in airports, railway stations, government facilities, etc. or circulate them.
6. Do not forward any sensitive videos and if anyone sends it in a group, caution the sender and insist on the admin removing it immediately.
7. Be on high alert personally, in public spaces and in case of any security threat, alert local authorities immediately ( suspicious packages, panicked drivers near sensitive facilities, etc.) Become the eyes and ears of India's security forces.
8. If you have a flight/train to catch, arrive early and help make the security checks smooth. Don't throw tantrums and become a headache for the CRPF/security teams there. Instead greet them with a Jai Hind or Thank you, and receive a broad smile.
9. Prepare yourself to be useful to the country in its time of need. What can you offer: Learn first aid. Or traffic management. Or volunteer somewhere. Become useful in real life.
10. Sensitize others - family, children, youth, drivers, maids, friends, - that this is a time of national emergency. Make them feel their responsibility.
Be more and more aware of what your responsibility is as a civilian in times of war. Share more of what you find.
